Brutal Slaying of a Wolf Pup Sparks Outrage: Advocates Demand Justice
In a heart-wrenching incident that has stirred a wave of indignation, a wolf pup was callously run over by a snowmobile and subjected to unimaginable suffering at the hands of Cody Roberts from Wyoming. The innocent creature, already gravely injured, was then subjected to further torment as Roberts callously wrapped its snout with tape before parading it around for entertainment at a local bar.

ABC 33/40 spoke with Lori Wynn, the CEO and Founder of Guardians of the Wolves, which is a non-profit advocacy, educational, and rescue organization for wolves and wolf dogs. The organization is based in California but does work across the country including Alabama.
A 3-year-old rescue dog named Rory celebrated a happy milestone — playing with her first toy. Carranza, who works with wolf dogs at a nonprofit organization called Guardians of the Wolves, initially planned to foster Rory until she found her a new home.
